The Pender Auditorium was downtown on Pender Street.  The Pender was originally an old labour hall with a great wall mural about the IWW.  Eventually it became a long-term gay club.

I frequented the Pender Auditorium back in the 70's. Some of the bands I saw there were Alexis (Radlin) and her incredibly talented band, The Perth County Conspiracy, Rocket Norton Band, Hush, Northwest Company, Country Joe & His Allstars, and many others that my mind has forgotten......

The Pender Auditorium burned down in about 2007.
