Seems the White Shutter Inn was a big place down at 14101 Pacific Highway South in what is now Tukwila.  I remember going to it in the 1980s because ironically enough I was the DJ at a club called Dandy's at 144th and Pacific Highway South, but it was mostly country then.  Its a casino now.

I tended bar there in the 1980's.  I spent a good deal of time there in the 1970's as well.

The Don Fisher band played nightly during the late 1970's.  The Joe Finnerman Band was the house band there for a few years during the 1980's.  I also recall Time Piece and Whistle Stop.

On Sundays they had Patty's Polka Band play from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. to an older crowd, then from 9 to 2 a.m. it was generally a jam session with the house bands
