Rhythm Rockets and we started it in 1954. The members were Ray Wood, lead guitar; Chuck Wood, rhythm steel guitar; Norm McVeigh, fiddle; Mickie Wright, drums; Sue Anne Kitts, piano; and Donnie Swanland, steel guitar. The band disbanded in 1959 and reformed again in 1999 with Ray Wood, Chuck Wood, Heather Wood and Norm McVeigh

Editors' Note:  It is believed that the Rhythm Rockets may have been the first Rock and Roll band in the Pacific Northewest.
