Rage performed in the greater Spokane area playing high schools, colleges, taverns, and an occasional opening act. (Iron Butterfly, Sugarloaf, and Elvin Bishop) Rage also performed in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Canada.  The bands major influences were Deep Purple, The Stones, and ZZ Top.
