Comments: I just saw the Fugitives pic, from Prince Rupert, BC, and remembered they won the battle of the bands in Terrace, BC I believe it was summer 1965 beating out the Jurymen from Terrace (I lived in Terrace) What a great Band!!! I remember the guys once I saw their names Kenny Ratchford, Don Mckay and Benny Sampare. Wow what great memories and the to top it all off I started listening to the 60's on 6 on XM Satelite Radio so I am back in memory. what great music......even though I am a Grandpa....hehehe....

Comments: Back again, looking to see if there is any listing for a Missoula band called Mojo & Mark Four, or maybe Mojo and the Mark Four. They later became the Chosen Few. Were around the mid to late 60's. Mojo was older brother to the lead guitarist in our Southeast band, The Epics.

Comments: As a teen I babysat the Pat O'Day (Paul Berg) children. His mom was our neighbor. I met and sat next to Mark Lindsey on a Wash. State Ferry while Paul Revere and the Raiders were playing at Parkers. I went to Parkers when Joe Cocker was there, he took my pen and kept it after autographing a coaster for me. I became a seamstress and designer for ALAN MEYER when he played at my exhusband's Lynnwood Restaurant/Lounge when he worked for Fluke and lived in Edmonds, and when he went on to the Hilton and beyond. Also made outfits for John Rusk and his band during his pre Elvis days and for Barney Armstrong and his group while he was very much a part of it all. I got a phone call from Anne Murray and told her I only sewed for men. She had just started touring and I had never heard of her. Thanks guys for the career, the fittings, and the great music. I miss the PNW Bands, especially the Burgundy Express sound. I enjoy Jeff Roberts

Comments: I was the lead player of "Chaser" out of Canton, Ohio, 1977 - ??? I ran into an old friend 20 years ago that said the rest of the band had 7 or 8 albums out when I left Ohio. Not confirmed. But, I'm still alive and well and thought we were oh-so-original with the name. LOLWhen I was with them we were kind of Ted Nugent clones, but I heard they turned into Beatles clones. I ended up out west (L.A. - Phoenix) with an original sound that no one could classify. For myself, I learned from Hendrix, Rundgren, Trower, Travers, Marino, Lifeson and am kind of a mix of all.
I see that this site hasn't been updated since 2002, hope you look at it and write. I would love to hear from you all!

Comments: chuck curry lived at my parents house his senior year at renton high...i went to that school with chuck,john gaborit and dick powell...7 thru 12 grades...i went to the sock hops when they knew three chords and were called the sonics...they learned more chords and became the mystics in high school...then dressed in colonial three cornered hats, tights and knee pants and called themselves lord invader and the penetrators [johns mother made the band uniforms]and as the rock scene became more psychodelic they evolved into the chrome syrcus and ultimately toured with the joffrey ballet company arranging and playing the music for his psychodelic ballet "astarte" which garnered them world recognition during competition in vienna if memory serves me correctly....i have many great memories hangin` out with these guys and if anyone knows them i`ve been lookin` for them for years.

Comments: Wasn't my band but my husband was a member of Heck Harper and the Wagon Masters. I did occasional singing, but the full band was Heck Harper, Steve Melnichuk,(doghouse bass), Johnny Fuhrmann and Bill Dixon (fiddle),Skip Montee,(steel guitar) Bob Kell,(drums) Carla Rowe,(singer) Bobby Gibson (lead guitar) and later on Al Boyer(lead guitar). The band performed on their own, but also provided backup for Johnny Cash, Ray Price, Ferlin Husky, Faron Young, George Jones and Joanne Castle for the TV show and at The Corral. Before our daughter was born, she was already exposed to country music as we were always there, every Saturday night, sitting beside the bandstand. It was a wonderful time of life for all of us.

I just got a blast from the past when the motel i was managing enters terry bud and at one point wayne gust. Terry gave me a beautiful framed pic that was taken in the 90's sometime. Comments: I was a member of Maurice & Cliches - originally from Vancouver...moved through Seattle (picking up members) and then to LA in the 80's...a bit after 79' of course....I dated Ian Fisher and wonder what ever became of him....our relationship was rather doomed (too much long distance between us....living 1,000 miles apart just didn't work)......so....do you know anything about him after the Cowboys broke up...or, better yet, where is he now?....Any news would be "interesting" to say the least. Comments: I was born in Mount Vernon in 1954, my brother Jerry was 12 years older, and drove a mean ol' Orange hot-rod.My mom would make him take me along with his friends as they 'dragged the gut" on Riverside Drive past the old Seven Cedars.Even as a kid, I remember seeing the dance hall, and thought it was a pretty cool place. I never got to actually go inside....but have heard lots of fun stories. I know Stan Boreson and Harry Lindbeck ran it for awhile, and Herb Benthien and his band also played there. By the way, Herb's daughter, Cheryl is in the Grammy award winning quartet of The Manhatten Transfer and also went to school with me in Mount Vernon. Lots of fun memories.
