Comments: Hi I'm Dick's Middle Daughter Shelly I want to thank everyone for the support of my Dad's Passing 12/19/2005, We all know how special my Dad was to have around, always making you laugh, Giving you a hand even if he had better things to do ,Him and I had this thing at the Holiday table, and I'm going to miss those food fights! "Yeah he was a big Kid " My Mom always said she'd beat our butts, but to tell ya the truth I dont think she could bend him over the knee so he was never worried, One thing about my Dad he always made time for his Family and Friends. So I want to thank every one for making time for him. Alittle thing my Dad always said "LIFE IS TO SHORT, SO LIVE EVERY DAY TO IT'S FULLEST" I belive thats what My Dad did , I hope every one will do the same I know I will. Love Ya Dad.

Comments: I played drums for the Coachmen and The Four Playboys, 1961-1965. I was surprised to hear of Tony Winslow's passing. I played with his older brother, Dave, and gave Tony his first drum lessons. Yes, he was a truly funny guy, with a huge heart. He will be missed.

I believe if I remember right it was light manuvers concer that my youth group went to. any how it was awsome and I still have that LP to this day! I'ts still encoraging when im fealing down. Comments: I grew up with Guy Arsenault and Wayne Diggins. I hadn't seen Guy in about eight years prior to his death. I was lucky enough to see Wayne about a year and a half before his death and talked to him a couple day's before he left for the East that year. There probably isn't two day's in a row that I don't think about Wayne, we were best buddies. At one time Guy, Wayne and myself were the rock steady crew.
I'll miss them both dearly, until I hopefully meet them again.

Comments: While I was a member of both the Triumphs and the Toggeries, Stan Reimer and I left the Toggeries and started the Coachmen. Members were: Stan Reimer-Guitar and vocals; Dave Brewster-Drums and vocals; Rick Rudy - Bass; Jerry Ranger-Saxophone; Jeff McSorley - Organ,Piano,Trumpet. I may still have a picture of the Triumphs and one of the Coachmen.

Comments: I was the bass player/vocalist with the CHERCHERS in the late 50's (we're on the site!); I guess that was what got me started in music. In the 70's and early 80's I worked with Red Thelin's COUNTRY STARLIGHTERS, a local country-rock band, then in '89 joined up with BORDERLINE and Alex Manriquez; a 10-year ride with good memories. Have been at it ever since in one form or another. Still into it, although a bit more relaxed; bluesy-folk semi-acoustic creations from our guitar player and percussionist. We (STUMBLWEED) play the Snoqualmie Valley area, usually at the P&G Speakeasy Cafe in Duvall (come see Paula McDonald for some outrageously good eats!!) After years of trying to go deaf, it is refreshing to be able to still hear subtle tones. BUT......I still like to get with a good Blues or Rock-n-Roll jam whenever possible. Man, there are a bunch of GREAT players in the greater Puget Sound Area, and I have had the good fortune to be in a jam or two woth some of them. Makes the secondhand smoke worthwhile (but we'll lose that soon, won't we?).

Comments: I was a student of Gary Evans' in the 70's - apparently paying attention only to the scales and rifts he was teaching - now, looking at the site, I realize I have had the pleasure of working with many of the New Deal members: Ray Downey and Tom Anastasio (Salt Water Octet with Mark Kelly, dir.) Comments: As an alumni of Renton High School class of '65, many of the names ring a bell. Jim Boggs was a friend of mine, even though it's been many years since I saw him last. I remember when Dan Munger and his girlfriend Mary lost their lives after his gig at Enumclaw HS. The entire RHS was in shock. I went to all the dances around the area. Couldn't keep me away from Lake Hills. I played drums in a little garage band with Stan Markgraf and Carl Lewis "The Nitros" until Uncle Sam got me in the Summer of '66. We didn't get too far, but it was a blast! I remember Scott Schneider in a drum battle with Jim Plano in the RHS auditorium in '64 . . . and much much more. This is a great site. Glad I found it!

Comments: I went to The Iron Horse in Coeur d'Alene last nite to see 'The Cronkites'. My old band-mate, Mike Stirn, (formerly with 'Kracker' and 'U.S.K.') is the quitarist. Wow! What a thrill to see those guys, in their fifties, hammering out those great old rock tunes,(loud, loud, loud) driving the gyrating youngsters wild with their throbbing, pounding hard rock. The place was absolutely packed to the walls. What fun!
This coming weekend 'The Cronkites' will be at Fizzies in north Spokane (Mead.) You've got to see this band!

We did have the honor of opening for the Wailers when they played at South Eugene High School in 1967.
My daughter (now 15) is learning guitar, and has been asking questions about NW Rock music, so I dug out some old vinyl, and decided to search for more info on the web. I really regret having traded my old copy of The Wailers Live at the Castle for a copy of Out of Our Tree back in the late 60's. It was a pleasant experience to find that it's been re-issued on CD. I ordered a copy. Listening to your clip of Gail Harris from that album reminded me how good these folks were. And Gail. I'd forgotten how great a singer she was at only 13 years old!

Comments: Just wanted to say "HEY" to my pal Tommy Stewart. I've had the pleasure of knowing him and was a fan of his band "Trama". I used to come to hear them when they played at a club on Georgia St in Vancouver, the Metropolitan I think. Can't remember it's so long ago lol. Thats ok it burnt down anyways. Well Tommy will remember me as his "mimic" :) So if you see this Tommy, I hope I see you again, I'll never forget you, take care and ROCK ON! You're the greatest. Comments: Very cool to find my band Bowser Moon show up when I searched the name just for fun!! Nice to see so many others(bands ) as well.Started playing at age 14(not legal...ooops) in such heavy duty Vancouver clubs as The Retinal Circus.Played with several bands from 1968 to 1980, Bowser Moon being the last (not necessarily the best).Have lived many lives since.Thank you to whomever for this cool site !!

I own a rare white-label-promotion-copy from 15.sept.1960. German Ordernumber: K-21599 / Us-Number F-4409. Im not shure if the german versions had been released in us. For your information on the discography.
