Prism at the McMicken Community
Center - 1966
This group disbanded in the summer of 1966 when Don Thomas left. He was replaced by Rick Berinato and we understandably had to rename ourselves. We decided on "The Prism." This lineup remained in place until December of 1967 when I left to fulfill my "military obligation." As Prism we played a lot of high school and college dances around the Seattle, Tacoma, Everett area. Although some of the Seattle U. parties are memorable, the highlight of that time would probably be the gigs at Eagles auditorium in 1967. We played at a couple of festivals and once upon a time openned for the Yardbirds (miserably, I might add.)Dave Bradford, April 2010
