The Jefferson Davis V on Stage at the Cirque Club

The Cirque Club was located on the TV Highway a mile or two east of Hillsboro for about 3 years in the late 1960's.  The owner, Ted Scott, was a retired Hollywood stuntman.  He was Clark Gable's personal stuntman for several years and owned the white Lipitzan stallions used in a gladiator movie back in the 50's or 60's.   He was one of the founders of the TV show "You Asked For It" and helped dream up the many zany stunts that viewers supposedly sent in to the show.  Ted promoted several local concerts, including the Jimi Hendrix concert at the Memorial Coliseum in 1968.  I've lost track of him.  The last time I saw him was in the mid 70's in Hillsboro.
