Our band was DMZ (the Seattle band, not the Boston one). We played in several clubs in Seattle, including Astor Park, The Central Tavern, The Detour, Dez's 400, Embers, Hibble and Hydes, the Owl Café, Rocksport, the Underground and others. We also played in several Pacific Northwest area clubs including The Ad Lib, Donovan’s, Excalibur, Odd Fellows and also Bumbershoot at the Seattle Center. We enjoyed a small bit of airplay in 1989 as part of a weekly local music show on rock station KZOK, hosted by Marty Reimer. Two of our songs, “Fire and Frost” and “You’re No Good” were in rotation on the show.

Our bass player, Jay Hargreaves, is also a luthier, and in 1980 he and three other gentlemen built a 10' 2" fully functioning electric guitar that was included in the Guinness Book Of World Records in that year. The guitar now resides (and is on display) at the Luna Park Cafe in West Seattle.Click this link for more info: http://jthbass.com/wldlgst.html
