"The Accents" played every major (& minor) nightclub and dancehall in the Vancouver area from 1963 through 1968Cory Steuart, 2 February 2003
Us "oldtimers" just seem to continue to have fun playing our old music from the past. After "dragging" Derek Cave to some of our gigs, he informed me the other day that the original Accents have "dusted themselves off" and will soon be up and running again.
I don't know what it is with us old guys, but we are all having so much fun, and it is so nice to see a great band from the 60's like the "Accents" get back in the fold. PNW Bands has a lot to do with it, and we can't thank you enough.

Cory, Derek and Pete are still goin’ strong on the local scene despite our official Geezer status. Bruce Norris from the former Soul Unlimited is in the band on Bari and we are indeed livin’ the dream!
