More of a venue for national tours than for local bands, it hosted concerts for Elvis, Jimi Hendrix, Steppenwolf, Vanilla Fudge, Ike and Tina Turner, Three Dog Night, and many more. These photos were taken just before it was demolished in 1995.Doug Rice, 2002

I have 4 seats from the old barn in my game room. On the last day before the wrecking ball was to fall I wanted to take one last walk through the venue. Luckily a salvage operation was selling fixtures including seats. Myself and another fella split cost on 9 seats at $5 each. We each got 4 seats as the 9th seat was one between our connected 4 seats. I was in a car and had no way to transport the seats. I called my brother with a flatbed pickup and got them home. They are from section 6 row E seats 7 through 10.John Kowzan, July 2007
